FLAMINGO FARMIn our respective youths, both my wife and I were horseback riders. She, a competitive hunter/jumper in the New York area, and me, a cowboy type. It was only natural we ended up with horses as breeders of Thoroughbreds in Ocala. We bought our first mare in 1965 and boarded her at a farm of one of my patients. Two of her first offspring performed so well at the track that we were able to develop our own farm near Reddick, which is where we live. Our main objective is to sell the young horses, some we even break and train on our track prior to selling. We have raised and sold many good racehorses and stakes winners: the most recent is a 3year old, LIVINGSTON STREET, competing at Calder presently. We always have horses to sell.
